Farmhouse Sports Academy — East Providence

 

Farmhouse Sports Academy East Providence is excited to welcome Coach Kealen Ives to our basketball training staff.

 

A Providence, Rhode Island native, Coach Kealen brings an accomplished playing background, championship experience, and a passion for helping young athletes develop their game.

 

Kealen was a standout guard at Classical High School, where he helped lead the Purple to the 2013 Rhode Island State Championship and earned Tournament MVP honors. He was also recognized as a First-Team All-State selection during his high school career.

 

Following Classical, Kealen continued his basketball career at Putnam Science Academy before competing at the NCAA level. He played Division I basketball at Rider University and later continued his collegiate career at Southern Connecticut State University, earning All-NE10 honors.

 

After his playing career, Kealen returned to the Providence basketball community as a coach, bringing his experience and knowledge of the game to the next generation of players.

 

At Farmhouse East Providence, Coach Kealen will focus on:

 

• Individual basketball skills development

• Ball handling and guard development

• Shooting and finishing

• Footwork and decision-making

• Small-group training

• Player confidence and basketball IQ

 

Coach Kealen’s combination of playing experience, local basketball roots, and commitment to player development makes him a great addition to the Farmhouse Basketball program.
